Quilting weekend at Sue's in Coloma

Usually at this time of year Patched Works puts on a
weekend retreat at Lakelawn Lodge in Delevan.  Since
Lakelawn was in foreclosure, and it's destiny unknown,
Julie was forced to find another location and change the
date to March.  This happy little group of quilters could
not wait that long and planned at weekend at Sue's.
Mother & daughter.  Aren't they Adorable!!!

A little Vino while preparing for dinner

Notice the bags of candy?  A MUST on a quilting weekend!
Beth was the cook for the weekend.  She can cook for me ANYTIME!
Sue's house was the perfect set up for a quilt get-a-way.  We had dinners
upstairs and all the quilting downstairs.  If David would of been here this
weekend, I don't think he would of left the lower level.
Talk about a great party area!

There was plenty of room to spread out.  It will be hard to go back to Lakelawn after this!

Don't you love the ceiling?
We even made time to visit Sue's favorite wine shop :-)

What a great pillow Robin!  The tree is 3-D

There were 6 ways to lay this quilt out.  Very cool!

Everyone accomplished a lot this weekend!
